The role
In a small deep-tech company, "project manager" means more than schedules. You will be the person who holds the whole picture together:
- Plan, track, and drive projects across the company: timelines, milestones, dependencies, and progress.
- Keep engineering, external partners, and management aligned, make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Search for, contact, and negotiate with external partners; communicate with current and potential partners, customers, and suppliers.
- Coordinate outsourced activities: design partners, manufacturing partners, service providers.
- Support procurement when a project needs it, from requesting quotes to placing orders with vendors.
You won't be doing this alone: the team will guide you into the technical side and support you as the role grows.
Must-have requirements
- Experience running projects or coordinating complex work involving multiple parties, your background can vary (engineering, manufacturing, agency, construction, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills: plans, follow-ups, deadlines, with you, things don't get lost.
- A confident communicator and negotiator, comfortable reaching out to new partners and vendors, including cold.
- Fluent Lithuanian and English (both are daily working languages).
- Comfortable around technical subject matter: you don't need to be an engineer, but you need a genuine willingness to understand what we build.
- A hands-on attitude: in a small company, you do whatever moves the project forward, big or small.
Nice to have
- Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, hardware, or deep-tech environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (we use Odoo).
- A basic understanding of product development cycles: prototypes, testing, production.
